Addressing the media Sunil Dimple siting on Dhrna, expressed great concern and shock, said the death rate is surging high in jammu region and particularly in jammu district.He demanded LG Manoj sinah when in the evening the COVID bulletin is released the govt should also disclose that how many vaccinated and how much free ration distributed to poor families in which area, district, tehsils and villages. Dimple alleged now the shortage of vaccines and no food has badly affected the people dying without vaccinations and food. He said people are not getting ration on ration depots meant for them; even 5 kg free ration was also not given to any family and the distribution by the j&k govt as a "Gareebono Ka Mazak", by J&K govt.Dimple said the children are crying for food as they have no food and their mothers, women are crying as they were unable to give food and not having food, atta, rice, edibles to feed their children. Dimple appealed PM Modi & LG Manoj sinah, to distribute cash and free ration to all Ration card holder families of jammu Kashmir on ration depots.He said the lock down is the need of the hour to save precious lives, but to arrange food for the poor families is also the duty of the govt. Dimple said the citizens of india and jammu Kashmir are paying and pay so many taxes to the govt in the shape of property, toll tax, RTO, Road taxes, power taxes, GST, and so many taxes on all things so that govt could help the citizens of the j&k the time of Need.He said the poor people are not baggers. Govt should Keep this 5 kg ration, for its MP, MLA, ministers.Dimple demanded the LG stop this order and distribute free ration to all ration card holder from ration depots.He alleged the BPL, APL, and ration card holders are not getting the ration which is ment for the consumers.Dimple appealed LG Manoj sinah that the poor people, traders, transporters, driver’s conductors, rehadi fadi, daily earners are badly suffering and facing huge economic crises and their families are at the verge of starvation.Dimple demanded LG to announce relief, waive off the Bank loans interest on Transporters, Traders, waive of power and electricity tariffs in jammu Kashmir and save innocent precious lives, from the fast surging pandemic & coming the 3rd third waive.Dimple demanded LG Manoj sinah to save innocent precious lives, from the fast surging pandemic & coming the 3rd third waive.He demanded to activate the polio vaccination network for COVID vaccinations and distribute medical kits on all health centers, hospitals and don’t politicize the medical kits distribution through BJP workers. He said in jammu Kashmir the vaccination process is very slow and centers are closed due to shortage of vaccinations.Dimple urged LG Manoj Sinha to intensify the vaccination process to save the precious.Dimple alleged shortage of the COVID vaccinations had badly hit the hospitals, health centers of jammu regions districts and all Kashmir districts.Dimple registers strong protest against the stock of vaccines being exhausted for 18 tO 45 age groups and all centers locked.Dimple demands LG Manoj Sinah to start vaccination for 2 years child to 18 to 45 & above ages.The other leaders are Harbans Tondon, Sanjay Nagraj & Mohan Lal dogra.

Chairperson, Block Development Council, Gundna, Sarshad Natnoo reviews functioning of different Line departments of Block Gundna.*Rahi vijay Sharma*Chairperson, Block Development Council, Gundna, Sarshad Natnoo today convened a meeting with officers of different departments in his office chamber to review the progress made under various centrally sponsored schemes, flagship programmes being implemented by the Line department's in Block Gundna.The meeting was attended by Sectoral Officers of different departments. In the meeting, detailed sector wise review was held which mainly includes farm machinery, distribution of quality seeds, Per Drop Per Crop under PMKSY, Integrated diary development under IDDS, Cattle feed units, Fodder Development scheme, Fasal Bima Yojana, KCC, PM-Kissan, Status of different schemes under execution, physical and financial achievements of different departments etc discussed in detail.The BDC Chairperson asked the officers to put in their dedicated efforts in accelerating the tempo of developmental activities pertaining to their departments so that desired targets could be achieved in a time bound manner. While reviewing the sector wise performance of Line Departments, the BDC Chairperson asked the officers to create awareness among the masses about the different income generating schemes by organizing camps in rural areas. He laid stress on enhancing the production of Mushroom, Honey, Saffron by encouraging the farming community about the cultivation of these crops.The BDC Chairperson further stressed upon the officers to rejuvenate their efforts for achievement of optimum results on ground so that the benefits of development percolate to the masses at gross root level espacially when poor people of rural areas are suffering in these times of covid pandemic.He said that participation in the planning process is mandatory for all the departments for implementation of Govt. schemes so that benefits of schemes reach to genuine beneficiaries.

*DC Doda holds interaction with media persons, briefed about present status of Covid-19 in the district*_Says admin has augmented sufficient bed capacity at various levels, monitoring regular supply of oxygen cylinders_*Majority of cases under home isolation,all are asymptomatic, medicine kits are being provided, Vaccination sites increased from 19 to 34*_Appeal people above 45 years to get vaccinated, asked locals to follow lockdown restrictions_*Rahi vijay Sharma*Doda,May 17:In order to disseminate accurate information regarding current Covid-19 scenario in the district, the Deputy Commissioner Doda Vikas Sharma today held media briefing here at conference hall of DC office Doda.The DC informed that at present the tally of active cases in the district is 872 out of which majority of the cases are under home isolation and all of them are asymptomatic, besides medicine kits including pulse oximeter are also being provided to them by the designated teams as per the directions of Hon'ble LG UT of JK.The DC also urged people under home isolation to monitor their progress of recovery on daily basis, besides asked them to inform to the control room in case of any severity.Regarding bed capacity the DC informed that district has augmented sufficient bed capacity at different levels, adding to this said that there is no dearth of oxygen supply, besides supply is being daily monitored by the concerned.Regarding vaccination the DC informed that in order to initiate vaccination on larger level the vaccination sites have been increased from 19 to 34, besides urged people above 45 to get vaccinated at an earliest, adding to this says if demand from people of any area comes the Administration shall also organise special vaccination drive for them on priority.Regarding micro containment zones,the DC informed that till now 6 areas have been designated as per the frequency of positive cases in the area, besides said that testing is also being ensured and is ongoing till the entire population of the respective area is not tested.The DC asked the people to follow the lockdown restrictions, urged not to venture outside unnecessarily, besides asked the people above 45 yrs to get vaccinated at their nearest vaccination site on priority basis.
