*On the directions of DSWO Doda Tariq Qazi sir DHEW, Doda Organised an awareness camp at Higher secondary school Bagla*_Doda/Rahi Vijay Sharma_The DHEW- Mission Shakti highlighted the working and functioning of the Mission Shakti and District Social Welfare department at district level. The team raised awareness on different schemes like Pension schemes, Scholarship schemes, Prosthetic Aids, SMAS etc.The team of DHEW provide awareness regarding new updates of Different Schemes regarding criteria and documentation. The team also threw light on Women empowerment schemes available at District level such as MS, OSC, WHL 181, Shelter Home, Marriage Assistance Scheme, PMMVY, Employment generation schemes such as Tajeswani, Mumkin, PMEGP and Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana etc . The team also addressed the negative effects of child marriage and how children below the age of 18 are not physically developed and mentally prepared for marital life. Hence performing child marriages is socially and legally incorrect and an offence.
